OEH and BCT representatives will present the morning sessions covering topics such as 10 years of Biobanking, Application of the BAM, what is happening next with the BAM, Biodiversity Assessment Reports, developing a management plan and costing a TFP, the process for reviewing BSSARs and BSAs, BCT’s role in delivering offsets, market reforms and managing conflicts of interest. After lunch we will here from our student grant recipients, followed by Biodiversity offsets from a council perspective and costing of restoration projects. This will be an essential conference for an up to date understanding of the BC Act. Over an afternoon tea of drinks and nibbles we will hold the ECA AGM (Members are encouraged to attend and non-members welcome). The conference dinner and trivia will be held on Thursday night.
NEST BOX WORKSHOP

Nest Box Workshop Program
Nest Boxes are readily used as a mitigation measure for the loss of habitat, however there is a lack of nest box standards and guidelines in NSW. The purpose of this workshop is to share valuable information on nest box use, design, successes and failures to improve the quality of nest box programs in NSW. An introduction and overview will be presented by Dr Ross Goldingay, followed by a session on box design and structure, including alternatives such as drilling holes, chainsaw hollows and recycling of hollows. The afternoon will include some more detailed case studies and a discussion session .
